It is difficult to put into words how much Deirdre helped our son and our family through the college application process. We anticipated that the biggest challenge would be organization and keeping the process moving forward.  Deirdre’s help was invaluable. She gave our son concrete goals and was able to use a variety of strategies to motivate, inspire and connect with him. This was integral to helping him finish all his common app and supplemental essays in time for the early action deadlines.  

Our son was not entirely sure what type of college he was interested in so Deirdre also helped compile a list of colleges for him to research.  Narrowing down the options was so helpful and she even suggested great colleges he may not have otherwise considered.  

This college-cycle was incredibly competitive.  Our son was admitted to all but 2 colleges he applied to and received very generous merit scholarships making both private and out-of-state colleges financially possible.

Deirdre is not only amazing at helping kids with essays and staying on task, she is also a very kind and warm-hearted person who genuinely wants her students to succeed and end up at a college where they will thrive and be happy.  I highly recommend Deirdre to any family getting ready to go through the college application process - it is certainly not for the faint of heart but Deirdre makes it much much easier!
